Initial Setup:

1. Shake Well:

   • Before using Seachem GarlicGuard, make sure to shake the bottle well to ensure the ingredients are properly mixed.

2. Prepare the Food:

   • Ingredients:
     • Fish food (e.g., pellets, flakes, or frozen food)
     • Seachem GarlicGuard
   • Instructions:
     • Place the desired amount of fish food in a small container.
     • Add enough Seachem GarlicGuard to completely soak the food.
     • Let the food soak for a few minutes to absorb the garlic scent and flavor.

3. Feed the Fish:

   • Feed the soaked food to your fish as you normally would.
   • Use this method once or twice daily to enhance the fish’s appetite and overall health.

Maintenance:

1. Regular Use:

   • Continue to use Seachem GarlicGuard regularly to maintain the fish’s interest in food and support their immune system.
   • It is safe to use with medicated foods to help attract finicky eaters.

2. Monitor Fish Health:

   • Observe your fish for any changes in behavior or health.
   • Regular use of GarlicGuard can help improve the fish’s resistance to diseases and parasites.

3. Store Properly:

   • Keep Seachem GarlicGuard in a cool, dry place.
   • Ensure the bottle is tightly closed after each use to maintain its effectiveness.

4. Combine with Other Treatments:

   • For enhanced effectiveness against parasites like Ich, you can combine Seachem GarlicGuard with other treatments such as Seachem Focus and MetroPlex.
   • Mix 1 measure of MetroPlex and 1 measure of Focus per tablespoon of food, soak in GarlicGuard, refrigerate, and feed once or twice daily for 1–2 weeks.

1. Can I dose GarlicGuard directly into the tank?
   GarlicGuard is best used as a food soak to ensure fish directly benefit from the product.

2. Does GarlicGuard expire or need refrigeration?
   No, GarlicGuard does not expire and does not need to be refrigerated

3. Is GarlicGuard safe for reef tanks?
   Yes, GarlicGuard is safe for use in reef and planted aquariums

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
