Initial Setup:

1. Preparation:

   • Shake Well: Before using Seachem Flourish Phosphorus, shake the bottle well to ensure the ingredients are evenly mixed.

2. Calculate Dosage:

   • Determine Volume: Calculate the volume of water in your aquarium. The standard dosage is 2.5 mL (half a cap) for each 80 liters (20 US gallons) of water.

3. Application:

   • Add to Aquarium: Pour the calculated dose of Seachem Flourish Phosphorus directly into the aquarium. For smaller doses, note that each cap thread is approximately 1 mL.
   • Frequency: Use once or twice a week or as needed in response to signs of phosphorus deficiency, such as stunted growth or dark green leaves.

4. Initial Dosing:

   • New Tank Setup: Add Seachem Flourish Phosphorus to the aquarium when setting up a new tank to provide an immediate source of phosphorus for plants.

Maintenance:

1. Regular Dosing:

   • Frequency: Continue to dose Seachem Flourish Phosphorus once or twice a week to maintain optimal phosphorus levels for your plants.
   • Mixing: Shake the bottle well before each use to ensure even distribution of nutrients.

2. Water Changes:

   • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular water changes to maintain water quality. During water changes, continue to dose Seachem Flourish Phosphorus to replenish any phosphorus lost.
   • Dosage: Use the standard dosage of 2.5 mL (half a cap) for each 80 liters (20 US gallons) of water.

3. Monitoring:

   • Test Phosphate Levels: Regularly test your aquarium water for phosphate concentrations using a reliable test kit. This helps ensure that the phosphate levels remain within the optimal range for plant growth.
   • Adjustments: If phosphate levels are too low, increase the dosage of Seachem Flourish Phosphorus. If phosphate levels are too high, reduce the dosage accordingly.

4. Signs of Phosphorus Deficiency:

   • Stunted Growth: Look for slow or stunted plant growth.
   • Dark Green Leaves: Observe for unusually dark green leaves, which can indicate a lack of phosphorus.

5. Storage:

   • Keep Seachem Flourish Phosphorus in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the cap is tightly closed to prevent contamination.

   Phosphorus is essential for plant growth, but only becomes problematic when levels are excessive. Flourish Phosphorus should be used to address phosphorus deficiency without promoting algae

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
